Elizabeth Mark, PT, DPT
Dr. Elizabeth Mark earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2013. Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, Elizabeth discovered her deep passion for helping children through hands-on experience working and volunteering one-on-one with children with special needs. This early exposure inspired her to pursue a career that would allow her to forge meaningful relationships with children and make a positive impact on their lives.
With 12 years of experience as a pediatric physical therapist, Elizabeth has extensive expertise in both outpatient and early intervention settings. She is certified in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), Level C, and is eager to continue advancing her skills with additional DMI certifications. Having seen firsthand the positive impact DMI can have on a child's progress, Elizabeth believes it is an essential part of her treatment approach. She is committed to the belief that children with disabilities should never be limited or defined by their diagnosis, and she continually seeks ways to help them progress in their gross motor development. Elizabeth finds immense joy in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and their families, and her passion for the children she works with is evident.
